I can’t wait to hear what nonsense the anti-vaccine people are going to cook up when a treatment for COVID-19 is developed and available. Probably something about it actually causing the disease or turning people into illegal aliens or something.

I decided to do something about all the panicked people hoarding toilet paper (or the truly awful people reselling the stuff) and got myself a sweet bidet. Butt problems solved!

Is there a more exquisite feeling than finally figuring out an annoyingly tough spreadsheet formula problem and having everything else start working properly?

I still think about the Library of Congress’s original decision to archive ALL of the tweets a lot. It’s a shame that it’s not happening anymore. What will future visiting extraterrestrials use to understand humanity’s finest achievement now?

I watched Chef again last night. It’s a pretty low stakes movie, but it’s also funny, heartwarming, and very fun. I’d recommend it to just about anyone. 🎥

I live in Corona, CA. I’ve been surprised that I haven’t noticed a mass exodus of ignorant or just plain dumb people out of this city.

But I guess there’s still time for that.

If I had a nickel for every time I took a break from working on my budgeting spreadsheets, then I’d have enough nickels to need a brand new spreadsheet to keep track of all these damn nickels raining down on me.

Two of my greatest accomplishments in life:

  1. On more than one occasion, I’ve been known to finish an entire loaf of bread before it went bad.

  2. I’m able to use up all the ink in a ballpoint pen.

I want to learn how to make iOS/Mac apps, but just so I can make useful utility apps that only serve a single purpose for me and won’t ever show up on an App Store. I can knock that out in a weekend, right?

I see that Contagion is on sale on the iTunes Store and I can’t decide if that’s funny or terribly upsetting.

I finished watching John Q yesterday in preparation for talking about it on my podcast. It’ll be an interesting chat because that was a boring, unrealistic, and ridiculous in a bad way movie. I’m so glad I only rented it. 🎥🍿

Per the article’s title, cartographers have been hiding covert illustrations inside of Switzerland’s official maps for decades. I love the thought of cartographers taking the time to make these, probably while wearing a sly smile. 😏

I was just listening to Rubber Soul. There are probably people out there who think that “beetles” the animal is spelled like “Beatles” the band. Much like how to internet has convinced way too many people that “loose” is the correct spelling for “lose.” Sigh 🙄

After too many interruptions, I finally finished watching the original The Secret Life of Walter Mitty with my special lady friend. It was such a fun, jaunty movie and really solidified Danny Kaye’s brilliance for me. I loved it. 🎥🍿

Until just this last week I’d always put my phone in my left pocket, screen in, and the Lightning connector down. I’m working on transitioning to Lightning connector up and it’s been really breaking my brain.

Being a Guy Ritchie fan, The Gentlemen was right up my alley. It was fun, energetic, and told a clever story. I really recommend it. 🎥🍿

After writing two long blog posts in just a couple hours, my butt is dead tired. I think I need to get a new desk chair before my backside falls right off.

I watched Enemy for probably the third time since it came out. Every time I see this strange, unique film I learn something new about the story. It’s a great, still mostly undiscovered gem. 🎥🍿

It’s tax filing time for me. Ugh. My federal return isn’t great but at least my state return is pretty decent this year. More than anything, I’ll just be glad to have it finished for another year.

I’m super late to the game, but I just started watching Westworld last night. I’d tried watching it once before, but couldn’t get into it. Now though, I’m feeling super sucked into the story. I can’t wait to see where it goes before the third season premieres in March. 📺
